The spacious entrance also serves as a library. The artist Irene Lanz
, owner of the gold glass manufactory
, has designed this room. Enjoy the lighted glass panels, decorated with gold sgraffitos motives taken from old Engadine houses. Enjoy the grandeur of this room with its over 3 m high inner window that shines beautifully at night with coloured light like a medieval cathedral.
The imposing granite floor includes stones artfully decorated with gold inlays. The entire apartment has floor heating. Through a traditional arch one passes into the dining and living room area.
The ceramic fronts of the kitchen shine in the sunlight in grey, black and golden sparks. The white glass top provides a beautiful contrast. Dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, microwave oven, fondue-set, ceramic hob, fridge, freezer and an oven allow you celebrate all the joys of cooking.
Take your seat at the handcrafted mountain pine table with its walnut inlays from the neighbouring Munster Valley. Antique mountain pine chairs, wine glasses, dinner plates and white porcelain tableware add to your culinary enjoyment.
The lounge - with comfortable furniture, web radio featuring iPod docking station and CD-player - is adorned by a two metre long chandelier of Swarovski crystals. The crystal waterfall breaks the light into glittering cascades of the rainbow. From the lounge chairs, you can enjoy the view of the huge lounge fireplace.
Like an eagle’s nest, the south-facing balcony sits above the valley. The view extends into the mountains of the lower Engadine, into the valley of S’Charl and into the Swiss National Park as well as across the whole village of Scuol to the castle of Tarasp. There is also a large garden that may be used.
Study with Day Bed
Through an archway you pass into the study area. The day bed can also be used as an extra bed. The antique bureau has been made by hand out of mountain pinewood and has been recently restored. From both the study and the living room, one has access to high speed internet over WLAN.
The large bathroom features a dark grey-mirrored bathroom cabinet with LED-lighting and a glass sink. The rain shower is delightful. Let the interior window - adorned with a full-bosomed nymph (symbol of the celtic water goddess Ena) - shine in exquisite pink, blue or yellow gold LED light. In addition to the rain shower, there is a bathtub with shower attachment, a toilet and an electric towel dryer. The apartment also has a powerful hairdryer with Softstyler and styling nozzle.
The master bedroom is situated on the quiet north side. A large double bed (1.8 x 2 m) and a queen size double bed (1.4 x 2 m ) can accommodate up to 4 persons. On the north / east wall there is a large built-in wardrobe.
Shared use of a washing machine and dryer. There is also one garage or parking space. The apartment is ideally situated, only a few minutes walk to the cable car and about ten minutes walk down into the village, where the wellness spa Bogn Engadine is also located.
